Join us for a fun and wonderful 5k fun run/walk. The run/walk will be held along the North Urban Regional Trail, 125 Hardman Ave S, in South St Paul, Saturday June 14, 2008 (Flag Day).

Beyond the Yellow Ribbon

Proceeds from the race will be used to help Beyond the Yellow Ribbon. The Minnesota National Guard has pioneered a program in hopes of changing how Soldiers and Airmen are reintegrated back to their communities. Called, Beyond the Yellow Ribbon, the program is named as a reminder that the support of Soldiers cannot end when they return from deployment and the yellow ribbons are untied. We help the families and soldiers during deployment and once they have returned home. We do this in a variety of ways, but the main focus is having the families reunite and making sure our troops get the help they need.

Schedule

Registration is at 7:15am
Run starts at 8am
Walk starts at 9am
Prize giveaway is at 10:30am

Fees

The race entry fee is as follows:

$20 if you register before June 1, 2009 (single person)
$25 if you register after the 1st of June. (single person)
$35 for a family entering together (up to four; must all live together)
$25 for a military family entering together (up to four; must all live together)
$10 for any Veteran entering the race (single person)

Each person that pre-registers will receive a t-shirt the day of the race. Late registrants will receive shirts on a first-come, first-served basis. We will have raffle prizes, extra t-shirts, food and entertainment.
