Course
The Woodtick 12K will be run on a USATF certified course using the scenic Itasca/Mesabi Bike Trail. It is a great fall run for runners of all abilities.
About the course:
- · Starts at Gunn Park, north of Grand Rapids; transportation provided (7:45 bus leaves) from the Itasca County Fairgrounds, 1336 Fairgrounds Rd.
- · Rolling trail through northern Minnesota forest with scenic vistas
- · 12K (7.46 miles)
- · Water and Gatorade will be provided at 2 stations and at the finish
- · USATF Certified
- · Fast; with multiple state and national records set here
- · Finish at the Itasca County Fairgrounds

$19 postmarked on or before September 15, $24 after
Awards
All finishers will receive a Woodtick 12K dri-fit shirt and all-all you-can-eat Kiwanis pancake breakfast following the race at the IRA Civic Center as part of the Goods From the Woods marketplace.
Overall award to the top male and female finishers plus awards to top 3 males and females in each of the following age groups: 19 and under, 20-29,30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and more mature.
Race Day
For your safety, headphones, baby strollers, in-line skates and dogs are not permitted on the course.
