In Memory of our late Mayor Bill Sandberg
Proceeds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The late Bill Sandberg was the town Mayor of North St. Paul for over 30 years. He was first elected to office in
1978. He was very dedicated to the community he served, and is one that will be remembered as a very fair and
compassionate leader. He was a great ambassador to the community. In March of 2008, he was diagnosed with
Leukemia and passed away on April 20, 2008. We invite you to run or walk in memory of the Mayor!

T h e T o u r
The tour gets started at the
North St. Paul Community and
Fitness Center with live music
along with Health and Wellness
information booths! We'll have a
short program beginning at
9:45 A.M. with the race getting
underway at 10:05 A.M.
This year the tour brings us east
along the Gateway Trail and north
across "Mayor Bill Sandberg
Memorial Bridge."
We'll then make our way around
Silver Lake and the charming
neighborhoods of North St. Paul !
Then it's back to the center for
awards and a pancake breakfast!
Pre-race registration fee:
Adult: $15 (includes tee-shirt & pancake breakfast)
Youth: $5 (17 and under, must pre-register to receive t-shirt)
Family: $30 (same household 3 or more, must pre-register to receive t-shirt)

Following the race, you are invited to gather with the family of Mayor Bill
and other guests for a pancake breakfast.
Also, prizes will be given to the
top male and female in the following age groups 15 and under, 16-19, 20-
29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+
