MDRA 7 MILE RACE

The Minnesota Distance Running Association presents
the MDRA 7 Mile Race, a challenging early spring warm-up featuring hills and
unpredictable weather.
WHEN:
Saturday March 29, 2008.
You must be registered by 8:45 am.
WHERE:
Cross of Glory
Baptist Church, 4600 Shady Oak Road, Hopkins. The church is located at the southwest corner of Shady Oak Rd.
and Excelsior Blvd. (County Road 3) in Hopkins, Minnesota.
From Crosstown Highway 62, take the Shady Oak Rd. exit. Go north on Shady Oak Rd.
approximately 2 miles. The church is on
the left.
From Highway US 169, take the Excelsior Blvd. exit. Go west on Excelsior Blvd.
approximately 1.5 miles. Turn left
(south) onto Shady Oak Rd. The church
is on the right.
COST:
The race is open to MDRA members only and is
free. You may join the MDRA at the race. For other benefits of MDRA Membership, click here.
We ask that you bring a donation ($1.00 suggested) to give to the church
for the use of their facilities, which include warm indoor registration and
waiting in the gym, water and bathrooms.

REGISTRATION:
Pre-registration is not necessary. To
register, Print out, fill in and bring the completed registration form to the church on the day
of the race. Race day registration opens at 7:30 am.
COURSE:
Loop course through mostly residential area
of Hopkins and Minnetonka. Significant
portion of course is on asphalt shoulder or sidewalk adjacent to two busy roads
that will not be closed to traffic. Runners are urged to use extreme caution.
RESULTS:
Finishers should note their individual time
on the display clock as they cross the finish line.
