Race Location
All events start and finish at the Abbott Northwestern Center for Outpatient Care located just south of Braemar Ice Arena in Edina. The address is 8100 W. 78th Street. Access is from the Valley View exit off Hwy 169 or the Industrial Blvd exit off Hwy 100.
From Hwy 100, take Industrial Blvd exit, go west to 78th St, turn right and continue all the way on 78th to northeast corner of 494 and 169.
From Hwy 169, take Valley View Rd exit east, turn right immediately on to frontage road toward Braemar Ice Arena, continue past Ice Arena until you reach
Events
MDRA 15K
Runners of all ages are welcome to participate in the 15K which is the USATF Minnesota 15K State Championship for both open and masters runners and a USATF Minnesota Team Circuit event. Teams composed of USATF registered members of USATF registered clubs will score in the Team Circuit.
Minneapolis Heart Institute 5K Race
Runners and walkers of all ages and abilities are invited to join in the fun of the MHI 5K.
Course:
Both races start and finish near the Center for Outpatient Care on West 78th St. Course follows Braemar Blvd to Gleason Road then south to W 78th St. The 5K will do one loop and the 15K will do three loops.
Both courses are USATF certified.
Entry Fees
MDRA 15K - Pre-registration through August 4, 2008 $20.00 (USATF Members receive a $3.00 discount if registered prior to August 4, 2008 ($17.00 Fee))
After August 4, 2008 - $25.00 fee for all participants.
Minneapolis Heart Institute 5K - Pre-registration through August 4, 2008 $20.00
After August 4, 2008 - $25.00 fee for all participants.
Awards
T-shirts and goodies to all participants in both events
MDRA 15K -
- Awards to first place runner in each five year masters' age group starting at age 40.
- USATF Championship medals to first three USATF members in each five year masters' age group starting at age 40.
Minneapolis Heart Institute 5K -
- Awards to overall male and female winners.

Your race number may be picked up at the registration table on race day. Mail in entries must be postmarked by August 4, 2008.
Participants may register at the race site. Race day fee is $25 for either event.
