Dave Huffman 5K Memorial Run

We are proud to present the tenth annual Dave Huffman 5K Memorial Run. The event is in memory of Dave Huffman who gave so much to the Chanhassen community. The fast, scenic course loops through the City of Chanhassen, finishing at the City Center Park. The course is USATF certified.

When:

Saturday, September 12, 2009 at 9:00 AM

Where:

City Center Park - located directly behind Chanhassen City Hall.

Directions from the Metro Area: Directions from the Metro Area: From I-494 take Hwy 5 west to Chanhassen (approximately 5 miles) to Market Blvd., go north (right) on Market Blvd. to stoplight, go west (left) on 78th St. and north (right) on Kerber Blvd. The park is located to the North of Chanhassen City Hall.

Entry Fee:

$20 Pre-registered by August 31, 2009. $25 after August 31 up to race day.

Family rate: $50 for the first three people, $10 for each additional person.

Long sleeve 100% cotton T-shirts to all participants, goodie bag with samples and coupons from local businesses. Refreshments and continental breakfast following the race.

Grand Prize Drawing - Name Brand Mountain Bike

Overall Men and Women's Winner - Whirlpool Suite at AmericInn of Chanhassen and $50 Houlihans gift certificate.

First Place in each Age Division for Men and Women - $25 Houlihans gift certificate.

Age Divisions:

13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ & Wheelchair

Kids Fun Run:

1/4 mile race for ages 4-7
1/2 mile race for ages 8-11

Medals and other awards will be handed out at the finish. All entrants will be eligible for Special prizes give by random drawings. Free to kids 4 to 9 years old.

Parking:

Use the parking lots surrounding Chanhassen City Hall. On street parking is also available.
