Happy 4th of July! This year marks the thirteenth annual Fourth of July race held in historical St. Peter, Minnesota. There is also a 5K Run/Walk, Toddler Trot for ages 1-8, and 1 Mile Kids Run for ages 8-12.

The 5K run/walk will also be timed and recorded!

CERTIFICATION:

The Freedom Fun Run 8K race is a USATF certified course.

LOCATION:

St. Peter is located on HWY 169, ten miles north of Mankato and about 60 miles south of the cities. The park is on the south end of town on Minnesota Ave. (169).

COURSE:

The course will begin and end at Minnesota Square Park. The course will run through part of the business district, past the historical Cox House, and through the beautiful Gustavus Adolphus College campus. The walk and Toddler Trots also start at the park.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to all men and women. Race officials have the right to disqualify any runner for inappropriate behavior. There is no limit on number of runners.

There are absolutely no pets, bicycles or roller blades allowed on the course. Runners may push baby strollers. Thank you for your cooperation.

8K Run and 5K Run/Walk
$25 postmarked by June 22 or online by June 24
$30 on race day

PACKET PICK-UP:

Runners may pick up their race information and shirts starting at 6:00 a.m. at the registration tables located at the Park.

Awards

8K: Awards for the top three male and female finishers overall and for each age group.

5K: Awards for the top three male and female finishers overall.

Random prize drawings will also be distributed at this time Please check the registration tables before you leave to see if you have won. Prizes will not be mailed.
