Enjoy this family friendly end-of-summer event in the heart of Duluth Heights (previously Birchwood Elementary). The part road, part trail run course, the 1.5 Mile Wellness Walk, and youth races end in an open field where a bluegrass band and BBQ await finishers and their cheerleaders.
The Wellness Fair provides nutrition, health, and fitness resources and screenings.
Schedule
- 4:45 - 5:45 - Registration Table & Packet Pickup
- 5:30 - 6 and under 300 yard dash
- 5:40 - Youth 1/4 miler (must be 12 yr old or under)
- 5:45 - Main Parking lot closed (Satellite parking available)*
- 5:50 - Last pre-race shuttle leaves satellite lot**
- 6:00 - 5.1k run start
- 6:10 - 1.5 mile wellness walk start
- 6:15 - Music, BBQ, and Wellness Fair begin
* The Main Parking lot will be closed from 5:45 until approximately 6:20
** Shuttles will make runs to the Satellite parking every 15 minutes

All proceeds from the race will be donated to the Encounter Youth Center.

Awards
Top overall runners and age group finishers will receive awards.
All youth/walk/run participants will receive t-shirts.
Spectators and participants alike will be entered into a drawing for dozens of prizes.

Under 20, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
