MAPLE LAKE FLY THOUGH NEY 10K
10K and kids 800m

Formerly known as the Days Of Old 10K and run in August, this race has been moved to make for better weather and hopefully more participation, as it supports the Irish track and cross country teams.
When:
Saturday, September 29, 2012.
Registration from 6:30-7:45
10K at 8 a.m.,
Kids 800m at 9:15.
Where:
Maple Lake High School. Access off Co. Rd. 37 not Hwy. 55, on the north side of the school.
Registration will be outside, weather permitting.
Entry Fee:
10K $20 Preregistered by September 27th, or $25 day of the race. Includes T-shirt and refreshments.
Proceeds go to the Maple Lake track and cross country teams.
Children's 800m: $1 (no T-shirt) on race day.

Banana bread and personalized mug to the top male and female finisher.
Ribbons to top age category finishers
COURSE:
Begins near high school, goes to NEY PARK (approx. 1/2 the race is the
perimeter of this beautiful park), then returns back to the high school. Mile
markers will be visible, and there will be one water station that runners pass twice, going into and out of the park.
KIDS FUN RUN:
800 meters at 9:15 on the track--$1 the day of the race-all kids will
receive a ribbon and an ice cream cone. Left over ice cream goes to all other runners and spectators.
