People For Parks 5K Run Lake Harriet

Come on out and join us as we run to celebrate the bandshell and raise funds to enable keeping it in great shape for the future.

Net proceeds from this event will be designated to improvements at Lake Harriet.. The 5K run is organized and sponsored by People For Parks, a non-profit 501(c) 3, organization, established in 1977, to enable park users and citizens to contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the Minneapolis park system.

When:

Sunday, September 11th, 2011 - 10.30AM check in, 11AM race.

Where:

Report to the Lake Harriet Bandshell area to register or to obtain your race number.

The run will circle Lake Harriet using the parkway. It will return to the bandshell to finish.

Post race refreshments and a special commemorative T-shirt will be provided to all entrants.

Entry fees:

The cost to enter the 2011 run will be $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for participants under age 18 if received by September 9th.

Day of event entries will also be accepted. Day of event entries will be $25.00 for adults and $15.00 for participants under age 18.

Entry fees paid above $5.00 are deductible contributions to the full extent of the law, as are any additional contributions made with either the entry or at the event.
