2.      Qualified student-athletes who have been declared and are accepted into the championships in another event shall be allowed to run in any relay heat or final.

3.      One additional student-athlete (per institution/per gender) listed on the eligibility form may be declared as a relay alternate. (Only one alternate may be listed per relay team.) This alternate shall be allowed to run in any relay heat or final for which they are declared. The transportation and per diem expenses for this alternate will not be reimbursed by the NCAA.

4.      The NCAA shall reimburse transportation and per diem expenses, if available, for a maximum of four members per relay team. Note: The NCAA will not reimburse transportation expenses and per diem for any alternate, whether or not he or she competes.

Packet Pick-Up Procedures – NEW

At this year’s indoor championships student-athletes AND coaches will need to register at packet pickup.

There will be two separate check-in stations and lines, one for coaches to pick up packets, purchase additional coaches’ credentials/banquet tickets, pick up their mementos and their photo credential, and one station for the student-athletes to pick up their photo credential and mementos.

All head coaches and qualified student-athletes must check in during the posted packet pickup time.

If an institution is unable to make it during the registration time of Noon-4 pm ET on Thursday, March 13th, there will be late packet pickup that evening prior to the banquet and also Friday morning prior to competition at the ONU Sports Center. However photo credentials will not be available during those times, only generic participant passes will be given out to those student-athletes.

For more information on this procedure, please see the participant manual posted on the championships meet website: http://www.onusports.com/NCAATrack08/index.html.
